It can be hard sometimes. All I really want to do is work "in the studio". But there's other things to do and think about like marketing, the work of being open to the public, office management, you know the crap no one really likes doing. But being "in the studio" is where I always really want to be. Why do I say "in the studio" like that with quotes? Because "in the studio" is not a single place. It's a state of mind. When I'm working sometimes it's physically in the space that is 1UV Gallery Studio...but it can be anywhere. In film they call it "being on location". Recently I began a new series that I've had stewing in my brain since I was nearing the end of DREAMSCAPES and while I was working on ZODIACKETS.
