2023 Annual Lenten Series:
VESTMENTS FOR A SPECIES IN PERIL
A "vestment" is a holy garment meant to be worn during ceremony or ritual. The pattern of my jackets is inspired by the unisex traditional Japanese garment/robe, the Kimono.

This series is a comparison between Oriental and Occidental religious and spiritual practices and traditions in the context of a species fighting for survival on the shared living organism of Planet Earth. We truly aren't that different from each other and in the end we will all go down with the ship we share if we can't get over ourselves. See me talk about these pieces in more detail on YouTube at this link. Enjoy...I guess.
Always,
Larissa
