Each issue of 1UV MONTHLY features at least 1 single frame cartoon. Some of them are political, some are just silly. All of them are meant to be thought provoking. The political cartoon is a truly American form of creative journalism with the first ones dating back to the original 13 Colonies pre-revolutionary war. In fact, political cartoons helped to convey ideas and perspective to early Americans and bring unity around common issues of the day.
