ORIGINAL FICTION by Larissa

In 2020 I wrote my first full length novel, Passion's Torrent, as part of my annual Lenten observance. By mid-2025 I had written a total of 8 novels, a collection of short stories (not featured below), an anthropological culinary text (not featured below), as well as a number of catalogs for new series of work including both images and original poetry (featured on the pages associated with each series). I hope to have my collection of short stories transcribed from the long-hand in which I wrote the originals to a digital text document by Christmas 2025. Starting with The Shifting Light, these novels are featured one chapter at a time in 1UV MONTHLY, the magazine I write edit and publish by myself.

Over the years I have tried to find a publisher to partner with on my literary work but have as of yet, never received even an acknowledgment of my submissions. A couple self-publishing groups have offered high priced editing services and on a couple occasions I have submitted samples of writing to them for quotes. Their fees have been less than affordable and I have more than once had original writing stolen and used by different entities in the arts and entertainment industry. So, I publish my works on my own terms. I do all my own writing, editing and formatting and I admit that it is not perfect. It is a lot of work. I pay for each printed copy of my books up front. My work is currently printed by docucopies.com. It is not cheap. I have finally decided to investigate having copies of my novels printed in paperback to be available for purchase at 1UV Gallery Studio. Purchase package options and pricing will follow soon.
