ART INSTALLATIONS

An installation is an Artwork that creates an environment and/or invites the viewer to participate in or implies viewer participation. An installation may have many components or only a few but it always creates an environment for the viedwer to exist within. It is kind of like a sculpture but more elaborate. A sculpture exists in an environment and has a defined "footprint" that the viewer does not enter into. With an installation the viewer has the opportunity to exist within the footprint of the work. The works listed below are some of the installations I have created over the years and/or may be on exhibit at 1UV Gallery Studio when you visit.
