Change is the essence of womanhood. From an early age we are forced to accept our existence as an unending series of cycles, each one a season in their own right until each one becomes like no more than a breath. We navigate adversity in all we do as daughters, sisters, wives, mothers, friends and even enemies. We are persecuted for the reality of our existence. Who hasn’t heard the sarcastic quip: I don’t trust anything that can bleed for a week every month and not die. Yet, it is that very cycle of change that makes any human life possible at all…a God given feature of our amazing human machine. Governments seek to regulate it. Religion seeks to control it. Society seeks to shame it. And yet we, as women persevere somehow. No one can get along without us. Then we, women even, allow the taboo of our existence to drive pettiness and cruelty among ourselves. It’s incredible when you think about it — just how terrible we can be to each other and ourselves.
I have designed this comprehensive workbook and Oracle-style card deck to transcend all of these obstacles in a woman’s quest to navigate the change of our many seasons. It’s not a religion. It is not therapy. It is not even self-help. It’s communal support on a peer to peer basis regardless of in which season you find yourself at the moment.
