About the event
1UV Gallery-Studio is joining the international Slow Art Movement in the annual event of Slow Art Day. You are invited to visit the Gallery and take your time really looking at and considering the Art on exhibit. Visitors will spend an hour viewing work quietly then an hour in discussion with the Artist and each other about the work, processes, and concepts presented in the works on exhibit. There are not wrong or right answers, only the truth of your experience of the Art.
1UV will provide seating.
Make a day of it! Downtown Saratoga is the perfect spot for wine and culinary enthusiasts to enjoy a delicious meal and local wines. Enjoy a morning tour of Hakone Gardens just a short drive up the road from downtown. Then park in one of the many free public lots in Saratoga and have lunch at a local eatery. At 2PM Slow Art Day at 1UV, and then drinks and dinner anywhere on the street. Flavors from all over the world are represented on Big Basin Way. The sidewalks are clean and smooth and the folks are friendly. Go aheaad...take your time. We're here and you can be too.
